The use of synthetic stucco has actually been on the decline for a while now. It was once a popular exterior cladding material, but it has since fallen out of favor due to a number of problems that have been associated with it. These include, but are not limited to, poor weather resistance, poor durability, and susceptibility to water damage. As such, it is becoming less and less common nowadays.
