My wrought iron is rusted. Can rusted wrought iron be repaired?

    Yes. Wrought iron can be repaired if it is rusted. However, the repair process will depend on the extent of the rusting. If the wrought iron is only mildly rusted, then a simple cleaning and coating with a rust-inhibiting paint may be all that is necessary. If the wrought iron is severely rusted, then more extensive repairs may be necessary, including sandblasting, priming, and painting.
