The best way to clean a ceiling is with a long-handled, extendable broom. First remove any cobwebs or dirt with a duster or vacuum cleaner. Then use the broom to flick any dust or dirt off the ceiling. If needed, you can also use a damp cloth to clean any areas that are dirty. Be careful not to get the cloth too wet, as this could damage the ceiling paint or plaster. Finally, dry the area with a clean cloth.

Ceilings can be easily and quickly cleaned with a vacuum cleaner. First, take off any light fixtures or ceiling fans that may get in the way. Be sure to use the crevice tool to get into all the nooks and crannies. Dust will accumulate on top of crown molding, so be sure to get up there with a dust mop or broom. Finally, using a wet rag or mop, clean up any streaks or spots.
