I was wondering between refinishing and replacing the cabinets. Is it cheaper to refinish or replace cabinets?

It depends. If your cabinets are in good condition and you just want to change the color, then refinishing is cheaper. But if your cabinets are damaged or need to be replaced, then it's cheaper to replace them.
