Yes stainless steel appliances can be refinished. The process of refinishing stainless steel appliances is a multi-step process that takes several days to complete. The first step in the refinishing process is to completely clean the appliance. This is done by removing all of the dirt, grease, and wax build-up from the surface of the appliance. Once the surface has been cleaned, it is then sanded down to remove any scratches or blemishes. After the surface has been sanded, it is then primed and painted with a special paint designed for use on stainless steel appliances. Once the primer and paint have dried, a sealant is applied to help protect the finish from scratches and fading.

Yes. Stainless steel appliances can be refinished to restore their original luster. Refinishing stainless steel appliances is a process that removes some or all of the original finish from the surface of the appliance and then replaces it with a new finish. The most common type of finish used for refinishing stainless steel appliances is a paint or enamel known as chromium nitride (CrN).
