Water Treatment Systems come in a variety of types, but all essentially work to clean the water and improve its quality. The most common types are: -Activated carbon filters: these systems use activated carbon to remove chlorine and other organic impurities from the water. -Reverse Osmosis systems: these systems use a membrane to remove dissolved solids, bacteria, and viruses from the water. -Distillation systems: distillation is a process that separates pure water from dissolved solids by heating the water to the point where it vaporizes and then collecting the vapor. This process removes many contaminants including lead, arsenic, and fluoride. -Ultraviolet disinfection: UV disinfection uses UV light to kill bacteria
